Was in a frontal collision in Fall 2010. My Yaris was hit on the front left side, the back end was lifted up and the car was spun around. My air bags did not deploy. I suffered multiple broke bones. The Yaris was totaled. We supplied multiple photos of the Yaris to Toyota. The did not come to see the car in person. They based their decision on our photos and accused us with tampering with the vehicle (even though it was two hours away from our home at the tow lot). They informed us they would not be following up with why the air bags did not deploy. We created a Youtube video to show the damage to the car and Toyota's reply to our request for an investigation (follow link here). We have been interviewed for the Patti Chiari TV station to help with their investigation with Toyota. If you pay for a safety devise in your vehicle, you should be assured that it will work in an impact!!!
