Every morning winter or summer, I have to wait for my car to warm up in order to drive it up the road if I want to go more than 25 mph. The transmission does not want to go out of first gear until the car is at a certain temp. I can't go up a road that is 35-45 mph if I just started my car, otherwise there would be a lot of upset people behind me because I can't go fast until the car warms up. The dealer tells me that is common for any Toyota car as they make them that way to ensure they last as long as they do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What a crock.
