2007 Toyota Yaris. Consumer writes in regards to corrosion in the alternator the consumer stated Toyota did not inform their consumers of the possibility of corrosion on the alternator. Eventually, the alternator had to be replaced. Also, the door lock on the drivers side developed a problem which prevented her from using the key to lock the door. The door had to be locked from the inside. Then, the lock on the hatchback door developed a problem. The door lock could not be opened with the key which made the hatchback door useless.
