On 8/14/2017 a cargo truck ran a red light, struck my vehicle on the front right side which resulted in me losing control and slamming head on into tree. I called Toyota to report the problem. Toyota sent an engineer out to remove the black box (Event Data Recorder) from my vehicle to obtain more information. A month later I received a letter from Toyota stating that my car was not going fast enough upon impact and that all the sensors worked. I left a message for Toyota asking them to please explain how can the impact not be strong enough?
I broke my toe as a result of the engine coming through the floor while I was pressing on the brake and the impact caused the center console to come into the car.
