2017 Toyota Venza. Consumer writes in regards to sudden acceleration issues. The consumer stated the vehicle had it's second episode of sudden acceleration. This specifically occured, when approaching a stop sign and removing foot from the accelerator pedal then placing it on the brake pedal.
The contact owns a 2014 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that while depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle accelerated without warning. The failure occurred on numerous occasions. It was unknown if a police report was filed or if any injuries were sustained. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing, but the results were unknown. The vehicle was not repaired.
