Rear seat hinges and mechanics rusting significantly. Dealer promises to replace all components involved but won't offer reasonable explanation as to why this would happen.
Update from Oct 6, 2011: Further to the rusting interior seat components, my Toyota dealer has now said they will only put a coat of paint on the rusty metal parts and will not replace. Giving me the run around with excuses and not interested in finding out cause. Now waiting on a response from Toyota Canada. One year old car rusting on the inside?
Update from Oct 28, 2011: Just got off the phone to Toyota Canada and the Warranty department says they will not cover this interior rust as it doesn't fall into the category of perforation. They have no interest in even investigating why this would happen except to say that it might be caused by A/C operation and bare metal. Pretty lame.
