This happened 4 times today the vehicle would stay at 1000 RPM while driving with no acceleration possible, it was as if the gas pedal was disconnected, tried to cross busy intersection, but could only coast threw. Also no warning codes available. Later the vehicle would not shift or accelerate it was going 40 mph at 2000 RPM. The truck has 34500 miles on it. Toyota says no issues of this kind reported and I'm one month out of warranty. I feel this is very dangerous, trying to cross busy intersection, when you can not accelerate I'm gonna get killed.

Traveling at 65mph - 70mph 12/26/19 2pm pst highway 5 northbound gilman dr ca slight uphill grade, pushed wiper control up to mist position, trans downshifted to 1st or 2nd instantly engine redlined and extreme driving measures were taken to maintain vehicle control until trans shifted up releasing power train to role normally, no accident occurred as no other traffic was around at that moment, vehicle went from 65mph + to 30mph in seconds, was able to recreate at a lower speed with same results, drove directly to Toyota service center in carlsbad ca without touching any other controls, service center left voice message next day that they had replicated failure and were replacing trans, sending removed trans to Toyota Corp for testing and research, service center informed me I needed to communicate with Corp I ordered to have a complete drive train evaluation and a root cause report, have voicemails and emails to document

Toyota 3ur-fe 5.7L V8 engine camshaft tower seal is prone to premature failure, which leads to engine oil leaking on the hot exhaust manifold, which could cause potential fire/flash hazard. More details (including photos) could be found in the recall petition at: Https://www.change.org/P/Toyota-motor-company-get-Toyota-to-recall-cam-shaft-tower-leakage-problem-on-5-7L-V8-3ur-fe-engine?source_location=topic_page

I bought this 2017 Tundra dlb cab brand new and have had to shop several times about transmission down shifting and then up- shifting on slight inclines, not engaging when put in drive then slamming into gear. 1rst time they checked fluid and said all ok,2nd time checked fluid again and was told transmission needs to be warmed up before driving, 3rd time they said they did a factory reset on transmission saying somehow out of sync / check fluid = this made it do it at different speed. Now if stopped on a slight incline while truck still in drive it rolls backwards while in gear until it catches and this causes engine stall !!! I called and asked Toyota to start tech support, after receiving a call back I was told tech's wanted to know about incline and they wanted truck overnight. So, not only did I take pictures of the incline I also filmed truck rolling backwards in drive and stalling, I took back for 4th time showed and uploaded pictures and video to shop foreman's computer ( he and another mechanic looked shocked ) they kept overnight and next day. Then I was told they couldn't duplicate, they compared to same truck ( salesman told me they didnt have one ) and that truck did same thing ( trying to say it was ok because it did it too) and then being told at present time they cannot fix and or install new parts / transmission !!!!!! this problem is going to seriously hurt, injure or kill someone !! as I told them I have had three other Toyota's, a Chevy, Ford and Grand Marquis and they don't do this. Toyota has a problem they seem to want to ignore !! please help
