Bought a 2016 TRD SR5 new. At 7,808 miles truck started in 4x4 Hi mode while selector had not been touched and was in 2 wheel drive. Never fixed as dealer could not duplicate problem even though it was on video.
At 10,197 miles it happened again. Started truck in morning and dash lights showed it was in 4 hi and it felt as though it was in 4 lo, while selector was in 2 wheel drive. Numerous efforts to return it to 2 wheel drive were successful, all on video which was provided to dealer. Again, unable to replicate customer complaint.
Dealer did open a manufacturer case number, so we will see.
