I brought the truck to the dealer on first occasion to have the brakes flushed, instead of doing what I asked they said the fluid was fine, OK, I took their word for it. Some months later I brought the truck back because I noticed it was becoming more difficult to stop, they had the truck 2 days and told me the brakes were normal BULLSTUFF! I understand it is a fairly heavy vehicle and not a sports car but when you need to give the brakes 3 pumps and bear down HARD on the pedal something is not right !!!! I Have been driving for better than 45 tears and have owned 6 different pickup trucks, this is far from normal !!! I have absolutely no faith in the dealer (GREENTREE TOYOTA) so I went to the Toyota forums online and found although not a high percentage of this were reported it is happening to others the most common fix was braided steel brake lines in place of the OEM rubber lines going to the individual wheels so I had them replaced by another mechanic and it definitely helped some the problem but it is still there at less than 25,000 miles. I think it may be with the PB booster or the ABS which has never worked properly and that TOYOTA HAS MY MONEY and now they could no longer give a rats a$$. #NO MORE TOYOTAS
