I bought my Toyota Tundra because of it's reliability. I was a Ford truck owner for around 22 years. I got sick of realignment issues on the Ford trucks. My Toyota has 30 inch tires which are made for off road. The tires work great the valve stems suck (TPMS Sensors). Why in the world would anybody put aluminum TPMS sensors on a vehicle designed for off road use. The price you pay for these vehicles they could grow a brain and make them out of stainless steel. Has Toyota even tested these, if so it should of been in mud and road salt. I'm not a rocket scientist but I do know what salt does to aluminum. After talking to more than one mechanic my solution is as follows. Take out the TPMS sensors and install good old fashion high pressure valve stems. This is a nice fix if you like driving around with a light on your dash all the time. All Toyota would have to do is change the material there made of and save us the Headache of a flat tire. They need to look into a better way or cancel the option. I may go back to Ford, at least I got to work each day.
