It's real simple......don't call your truck bed an 8' bed (really measures 95.5" of clearance with the tail gate closed). I purchased this truck for work and can't put a f*cking peice of drywall, plywood or stud in it without leaving the tailgate open or the topper open....."WHAT ABOUT THE RAIN, SNOW OR KEEPING YOUR TOOLS SECURE"......you could'nt add a f*cking "INCH" more.....really....I have a double cab long bed...do you really think an "INCH" makes a differance....GET IT RIGHT...had I known I would have bought a real 8' bed.....I "WILL" make sure that other people don't make the same costly mistake.
