The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact stated that when she arrived at her destination her husband noticed something hanging from underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed with a rusted rear fuel tank strap. The contact was informed that the fuel tank strap needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 187,000.
