Found check engine light on while parked. Attempted to drive vehicle after having two other incidents with vehicle shutting down while driving. This time engine power was low but could drive at 40-45 MPH. Power cut in and out to engine/transmission while driving. Towed to dealer. Code P1614. Replaced EG9029 R&R Air Pump Assembly 1.5 17610-0S010. Toyota claims they fixed the problem with power being lost to engine.
My 2010 Toyota Tundra shuts down while driving. The 4 LO and RSCA lights flash and check engine light comes on. Dealer replaced ECM Peocessor, but incident reoccurred.
Driving 55 MPH on highway when vehicle shutdown almost causing an accident. Vehicle towed to a local dealer. They claimed a bad ECM which they replaced.
JAMES TOYOTA SERVICE DEPT. WAS VERY HELPFUL & A REAL TEAM APPROACH, GAVE ME A TUNDRA TO DRIVE DURING REPAIR (30 DAYS). SALES DEPT WAS TYPICAL OF SALES PEOPLE. IT WAS A $17,000 REPAIR COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
