When you get ready to drive down the road the accelerator is very touch I took it in for the recall but it's still the same very dangerous, the passenger seat belt while the truck is going down the road the seat belt will tighten up so tight its chocking you and it want loosen up unless you uhook
The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Tundra. While attempting to exit the vehicle, the front driver side seat belt locking mechanism malfunctioned. The contact was unable to unlatch the seat belt when the release button was depressed. The driver had to maneuver himself under the seat belt in order to exit the vehicle. The local dealer (sewell Toyota, 2213 old jacksboro hwy, wichita falls, tx) and the manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 115,000.
The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Tundra. Whenever the contact used the drivers side seat belt he noticed that the seat belt would lock which didn't allow him to move while driving the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealership where the contact was informed that the vehicle was performing normally. The contact has noticed the failure since the day the vehicle was purchased. The current and failure mileages were 21000.
Just purchased a 2008 Toyota Tundra crew max, the rear passenger side seat belt was bolted to the floor, 16 year old son put belt on and when he shifted in the seat, it completely came up through the seat, bolt and all.
