I PURCHASED A 2008 TOYOTA TUNDRA LIMITED MAY 2014. HAD SOME SURFACE RUST ON THE BED WAS TOLD IT WAS NO BIG DEAL COULD BE REPAIRED WITH NO PROBLEM. TOOK MY TRUCK TO MY TOYOTA DEALERSHIP THEY SAID THE TRUCK WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND THEY WOULD CONTACT THE TOYOTA REP ABOUT THE BED ROT IN THE TRUCK BED. THE DEALERSHIP GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $9000 TO FIX THE PROBLEM, BUT TO WAIT TO HEAR BACK FROM THE TOYOTA REP. AFTER A FEW WEEKS OR MONTHS THEY DECLINED MY CLAIM STATING THE RUST PROTECTION WAS GOOD FOR 50.000 MILES AND NO MORE AND THEY COULD NOT HELP ME WHAT SO EVER IN THIS MATTER. IF I HAD KNOWN TOYOTA HAD A BED ROT PROBLEM I WOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT THIS TRUCK. I HAVE LEARNED TOYOTA HAS FIXED QUITE A FEW OF PEOPLES TRUCKS BEDS ON THE TUNDRAS BUT NOT ALL. HOW IS THAT FAIR?
