Trans has two problems, both starting at 30,000 miles. Driving slowly, usually when making a turn, the trans slips into a no-gear mode.
A more serious problem occurs when the truck starts cold (even in warm weather) and the trans does not shift into normal gear at 30 MPH. This passes after a few miles.
I have repeatedly reported this to both Toyota and to the dealer during the Warranty Period and I was told that this is normal and that it is NOT indicative of a failing transmission.
