I bought the 2007 toyota tundra in november 2007 for $33,000.00 and only after paying the deposit and signing the purchase agreement and loan docs the general manager of
thousand oaks toyota comes out to tell me that if i notice a slight rough ride to come back in a few months because toyota is making a device to put on the truck to stop it.
On my way home on the freeway the truck was bouncing so bad my glasses were falling down my face. I went back the next day and again was told about the part that toyota was going to make, The general manager told me to put 4 90lb sacks of concrete in the back of the truck???? Yeah with 13mpg I really want to put 400lbs in the back of my new luxury truck. as time went on I developed a gall bladder problem that by its self
i could handle the discomfort, But with the bouncing of the truck made it so bad that i had to have the gall bladder removed to save my credit "that or push the truck off a cliff"
and people go to jail for the latter. So the only remedy is to go 80mph so the truck stops bouncing or go the speed limit and remove some more bodyparts.
Oh yeah, Toyota has never made, nor plans on making a device to stop the bouncing.
