Subject: Dealer Warranty Enhancement Program ZH7 Certain 2007 -?" 2008 Model Year Tundra Extension of Warranty Coverage for Frame Corrosion - Ended on 1/21/2019 (attached). Details: See Attached Pictures - Frame has rusted out with considerable "perforation" 10mm or larger. The condition clearly started many years ago. The vehicle was rust protected at an independent non-dealer shop. No known frame issues were witnessed prior to the 2019 deadline. Vehicle was not taken to the Toyota Dealer based on aftermarket rust protection application and no witnessed issues. The enhancement was not stated as a mandatory recall (which it should have been). The vehicle has 80k and has been lightly used in Virginia (cold climate state). The entire structural integrity of the truck is put at risk with this condition. An independent shop investigated the condition and provided the pictures. Repairs are underway but Toyota America should be responsible for extending this enhancement to a mandatory recall of all impacted vehicles. This is clearly a public safety hazard, breakdown in quality and totally unacceptable.

Suddenly, I discovered that my fuel tank showing as if it's about to drop on the ground. As I inspected, the fuel tank rear strap broke off the frame due to corrosion. the strap itself was not the issue, part of the corroded frame was still attached to the strap. When I took the truck to my local Mechanic, further inspection showed worse signs of corrosion in the entire frame and in every part connected to the frame as well; suspension parts, brake parts, emergency brake parts, spare tire hinge; etc. Against my disagreement with Toyota dealership, I had the truck painted by Toyota as they recommended during the frame recall in February of 2018. I wanted to replace the frame, based on other professionals advice, but Toyota Dealership insisted that my truck frame is in good shape it ONLY needs the paint recommended by Toyota. I come to find out that they have not remove nor clean any rust and they painted on top of it. Additionally, They never painted the cross members above the tank Now, when I looked under the truck, the paint has coming off in greater areas of the frame showing heavy rust under it. Which means the paint job was a joke, and worthless. Now, after seeing this, I am wondering how can I possibly drive this truck. The tank can drop any time or the spare tire latch can break off, causing a disaster on a highways where I drive. My emergency brake not even adjustable any more due to the heavy rust caused by the frame. Toyota failed to engineer the frame, and later on, failed again to correct their own mistake. contacted the dealer and waited for a month, no response. I called Toyota headquarter and filed a complaint. They respond is that because the recall program has expired there is no further assistance from Toyota. My question to Toyota is, are they going to wait to hear a disaster on one of the highways caused by their faulty equipment and workmanship, or will they take action before it happen. Attached are some pictures.

Toyota Tundra frame corroded. There is a baseball sized hole in my frame and Toyota was notified of it and denied that is was their responsibility to repair issues related to improper anti corrosion treatment during manufacturing. They stated they had a campaign to resolve this issue but I was not notified by phone, fax, mail, email, or any other means.

First and only time I used the supplied jack for my 2007 Toyota Tundra. I followed the directions as indicated in owners manual and was on level ground at time of this pitiful jack?S failure. The jack did not hold the weight of my truck when I had to remove a tire. As a result, the truck fell off of the jack and caused multiple damage to tire I used (thank god!!) as a jack stand. The rotor of rear passenger side was bent and the leaf springs of that passenger side shifted and are now not aligned properly. Consumer stated vehicle was damage by the failed jack. Dealer did not offer to replace the jack and stated vehicle was past warranty.

The amplifier for the ac/heat controls broke. I need it fixed as the truck is not usable in southeast Arizona without ac. Toyota put the amp in this model behind the dash. This was wrong and they changed it fairly quickly. To repair this model requires an additional $1,200 of cost beyond that of the broken part. I spoke with Toyota and have a file number. They won't do anything to help with this cost or an electronic work around. This is a real safety issue. The vehicle can be driven but it is a death trap and this is caused by poor engineering. Attach is the request I sent to Toyota.

My 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 has a very bad frame and under body rust issue (I have multiple pictures and videos I can provide). Last August, I found out on a Toyota forum that there is a recall/class action settlement for this issue www.toyotaframesettlement.com I have contacted Toyota coorporate on (or around) 08/03/2018 (incident: 180803-000275) for more information and asked where I should take my truck for inspection. I was told they can't help because my truck was built (of configured) for the Canadian market. I contacted Toyota Canada (1-888-869-6828) and was told they can't help because I don't reside in Canada and the frame settlement is only for residents https://www.clg.org/class-action/list-of-class-actions/Toyota-rusty-frame-Canadian-class-action. I have already spent over $1500 worth of brake cables, tensioner and other rusted parts. I was told, this truck is very unsafe to drive. I have tried everything and nobody is listening. This situation is causing me a lot of sleepless nights and stress. I'm planning to contact my lawyer next week to discuss out options if there is no resolution. I can provide a recording of all my conversations with Toyota agents. Thanks,

Secondary air injection reaction pump error code. Present with the secondary air system reaction pump error code. Bought it on November 28, 2016 and could have had it fix before the 10 years extended warranty expired on 2017, but I still have not received any information about the secondary air injection reaction pump issues from Toyota. How do I go about getting the warranty.

On Saturday, March 13, 2010 around 4:30 to 5:00pm, my wife [xxx] exited nw 5th court from I95 to nw [xxx] miami, Florida. As she was approaching the stop sign on [xxx], she commenced to press the brakes. To her demise, after pushing the brake pedal to stop, the vehicle, a 2007 Toyota Tundra crew cab did not stop, instead, automatically increased speed to over 20 mph. She was forced to make a left turn on 71st street to avoid an accident or from crashing until a 1990 to 1994 green Ford Explorer going at speeds well over 50 mph on nw 5th court coming from the East to West, rammed/crashed into the front passenger side of the Toyota Tundra as my wife was making the left trying to evade traffic and make the Tundra stop. His Ford Explorer completely totaled the Tundra. I then arrived at the scene to find my wife with serious injuries and took her to the er. I was so glad to see she was alive and was able to carefully Transport her to the hospital. If someone would have crashed into the driver side or a front end collision occurred, my wife would definitely have not survived. I feel, god was on her side that day and gave her a second chance at life. The man in the green Ford Explorer could have slowed down and stopped, but did not. Maybe, if he didn't crash into the Tundra the way he did, my wife would not have survived. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
