Well, I have had my 2007 Tundra for almost 5 years. Yes it has had a few problem like any other car out there. But most were fixed under warranty. But my biggest complaint is in 07-13 on the White Tundras when the dealer painted the trucks, they did not put a clear coat on them. So it shows a dull spot on both sides of the truck in several spots and one on the tail gate. I took it to Toyota and they acted like there was nothing they could do because the truck was out of paint warranty. So my next Tundra will not be white.,or I will have it Vinyl wrapped to cover the sorry paint job.
The roof of my truck has no clear coat, the paint is fractured and dull now the hood is starting to have the same problem along with the top of the door frame on all four doors. I would like to know if I have any recourse in getting this fixed. I have taken it to an auto body repair shop and he informed me that it is an issue with the factory paint and I should take it to Toyota for repairs, Any suggestions on how to get this fixed would be appreciated.
