I don't trust service departments (it's all trust, you know). They take your vehicle 'out back', twittle with it, tell you what they did and charge you what they want and you haven't the foggiest idea of what really occurred. Now that's trust. I took my truck to toyota dealer, where it was purchased, to have blower noise checked. I was told there was something in the blower, like foreign object, causing noise. Maybe. But since it was my fault that "something" was in the blower - NO warranty. I'm to pay $60.00 to remove the "something" from the blower. Hope it's a fifty dollar bill, although I'm not likely to get it out of the mechanics pocket. They could easily find the blower defect (warranty now) and still charge me the $60.00. Also, charge toyota $300.00 for blower warranty replacement. Trust, you've got to have it. So, I'll mark blower with a little paint and photo it, then to the shop for a little trust. If they change the blower, they better not charge me $60.00. And if the mechanic finds that fifty, I hope he does stick it in his pocket. They don't pay those guys enough anyway. I'll give you a followup
