- the contact stated that on 01/09/07 the news reported that evenflo discovery safety seat was not safe. The news report stated that the seat dislodged from the base, twisted and fell off. The news stated that the safety seat did't pass safety standards. The contact stated that she called evenflo, and was told that the seat had not been recalled. The manufacturer told the contact that the seat was safe, and they will not reimburse her for the seat.
