CarComplaints.com Notes: You're going to burn through a lot of dinosaurs while chugging around town, and any rear passengers you may have to carry are going to feel real cramped, but at the end of the day this is a solid truck.

‪#‎Toyota‬ does not care about their customers. I just got a call back finally from supposedly customer care, and they're saying that the ball joints need to be inspected every 15,000 miles and replaced if needed. Well we got the truck last year 2015. We were originally told by customer care that as long as we took it to the dealership, and they could say for sure the damage was a defective part, then they would replace the ball joints and fix the damages. I have attached the email that shows that this in fact was due to a defective part. We also had our vehicle inspected by another place in December of 2015 and they said our ball joints were fine and even would say so if Toyota talked to them.
All the parts that were broke make it where you cannot just fix the balljoint. They were lucky that my husband wasn't driving down the road or with our kids in the car. Instead he had stopped and was waiting for traffic to clear. How DARE they act like this is not an issue with them. Someone could've been killed, or he could've killed someone all because of a part we were not informed of that was defective?!
How about #Toyota start showing that they care about their customers and fix the damages. We don't want monetary compensation. We don't want the car painted, etc. We only wanted the damages fixed so it's safe to drive. Is that asking too much from a company that is responsible for defective part?!
As your logo says ‪#‎Letsgoplaces‬ well I'd love too, but when I have a busted defective part I can't!
Also, we never received an email from your customer care department for our case manager, even after being promised, over and over again, that they would give us one so we could send them the info. Nope they flat out denied us without all the information. What more are we supposed to do if we've done all we can, but you still REFUSE to do what's right, all for a repair that will cost you less than $3,000?!! Is all the bad press really worth it?! I would never recommend a #Toyota to another, if this is the service we are going to get! ‪#‎TOYOTAFAIL‬ ‪#‎RECALL‬ ‪#‎BBB‬ ‪#‎KTLA‬ ‪#‎BADCUSTOMERSERVICE‬
