Took car in with recall letter and dealer took letter, scheduled an appointment to come back and replace airbag but when I returned to have work completed, dealership said they could not work on the car because Toyota's computer would not respond to the dealership. Sent me away without fixing the recall items and did not reschedule an appointment for me later.

Questions: Did the dealer turn in the prior retrieved recall notice from Toyota and were they reimbursed for work they never completed?
