Transmission is slipping when cornering and when shifting from Reverse to Drive, when vehicle is not up to operating temperature. It is also downshifting with a "CLUNK" when rolling up to a stop sign for example. Have strong suspicion that the transmission fluid is low. Many other 2016 Toyota Tacoma owners have experienced similar issues with their Automatic Transmission and many have checked their own fluid to find it low. Some report that the dealer has checked the fluid and found it to be upwards of 1 quart low from factory. More often than not, the dealer does not typically want to dig into the issue of checking transmission fluid levels as the transmission on these is a sealed unit. My dealer says he wants me to leave vehicle overnight to try and recreate the problem but the problem is not consistent. Believe a check should be done on automatic transmission fluid levels for all of the 2016 Tacomas with Transmission Cooler (Towing Package) as this appears to be a pandemic problem.
