EZ Toyota Blower Fan Replacement 2005-2014 Model Years - I just posted this video of my heating\AC blower fan swap out. Same issue with my blower, didn't want to wait on the dealer. This was a ridiculously easy repair and only cost $45 !
Blower motor failed. Dealer said there was a backlog of over 350 blower motor units nationwide. Wait to replace 1-2 weeks. Temperatures in this area are in the mid to upper 90's.
A backlog of this significance would seem, to indicate a high failure rate and an inadequate inventory by the manufacturer. Why buy Toyota if they can't honor their warranty promptly?
If I replace the blower motor from a third party (which I can get next day, the dealer said it would void my warranty.
