Why use a 10mm hex key for a drain plug? It was rusted and easily stripped. Took it to an auto shop and even they couldn't get it off after soaking it with penetrating oil and leaving it over night.
If you have this problem and can get the plug off, replace it with the Lexus compatible drain plug to get it off easier for future services.
