Engaged brakes but vehicle accelerated. Brakes did not stop vehicle so I ran into a pole in concrete to keep from hitting a person or another vehicle. I would estimate the speed of the vehicle between 40 and 50 mph when I hit the pole.

Had to have $8000 worth of body work, etc done after the brakes totally failed.

I suffered head trauma, a broken left hip and a broken right ankle after my 2015 Toyota Tacoma accelerated and the brakes would not engage. I had to be flown by emergency ambulance and spent ten days in the hospital and had several surgeries. This occurred almost two months ago, and the memory of the event is slowly returning. I recall pressing the brakes to no avail. I am still unable to walk. I had driven only 8200 miles.
