Toyota supposed to build bullet proof vehicles. Bought 2011 4wd Tacoma with 49,000 miles on it. Totally babied truck, never taken off road. At 70,000 miles front differential started leaking where front drive axle fits in. Taken to dealership in KC and gears in front diff sheared with metal shaving. Toyota had to search and order in a differential, which took a week. $1700 for a used differential with 12,000 miles on it and 1 year warranty.
