2010 Toyota Tacoma. Consumer writes regarding high RPM of vehicle engine the consumer stated the dealer did not offer a diagnostic or road test to determine the extent or reason for his safety issues. A technical service representative stated the engine specifications were set electronically at the factory and the RPM could not be adjusted. The consumer stated the issue appeared to be a high RPM of the engine, which created an aggressive surge when placed in forward and reverse positions.
