We have a 2010 toyota tacoma and we heared clicking sounds (mostly on the left/driver side), so we had Toyota Cox diagnose the problem. They said it was a center bearing problem. They said it will be $400.00 to fix it. Everything was fine until we received a call from them saying that the tip of the axle broke while they were torquing it. If a 5 year old truck's axle can easily break upon torquing, then it is really concerning...Question is, should we cover the price which is $1300 or should they. Right now, we can't afford any more lost time of work, so we are covering it, but if it's their fault why do we have to cover it? If it's a manufacturing problem, why aren't there any recall?
