You would expect that Toyota, would have resolved this frame rust problem by now.
They had a recall for late 90's pickup for frame rust. I wonder if this is because the
Tacoma was built in a GM plant, that this was never resolved? I do intend to bring this to the dealers attention as soon as the weather improves and I get over a bad cold!
