stop working but when hit a bump starts working again
The A/C stopped working shortly after purchase. When I took it to the dealer was told that the filter needed to be changed. I did this and was given the old filter. It worked...for a while! IT STOPPED AGAIN! I took it back to the dealer and was told it was the dirtly filter. It was changed again! It started working again! After a period of time, it stopped working again!!! I did not immediately take it back to the dealer because of cost of time!!!
Later, while driving, I hit a bump in the road and the A/C started working again! It continued to work normally until the engine was cut off! Upon starting again, it did not work...until I hit another bump! Upon return to the dealer for routine services, etc., was told that the motor (blower) needs to be replaced! I have not done this! However, the next day when I hit a bump, it started working again!
Jarring seems to be the problem as it also happens with the radio, and I am of the opinion that this a factory defect! Because the warranty has expired, I am told that any repairs will be at my expense!
Obviously, I am pissed! I had my previous truck (ford) for 12 years and never had a problem with the A/C and here a few months after purchase this is a problem with the 2010 Toyota Tacoma!!
