Was traveling on the interstate at approximately 75 mph and ran over a small piece of shredded tracker trailer tire, approximately 8-10 inches long, by 3-6 inches wide. The tire piece flew up, impacted the front facing section of my fuel tank, puncturing the top part of the fuel tank. The gash was about 1 inch, and fuel began to gush out from the front of the tank covering the top, sides, and bottom of the tank due to the wind from highway speeds. The fuel leak was not detected until I had driven 200 miles more and noticed my fuel economy dropping rapidly. When I stopped, fuel was leaking heavily onto the ground. Note this is a 2wd prerunner double cab long bed. The fuel tank has no protective steel shielding on the front of the tank to prevent road debris from damaging the tank in the event of impact.

My concern involves the vacuum braking system on my 2009 Toyota Tacoma double cab. The brakes are very inconsistent and at times the RPM's increase while braking. Sometimes they are very 'sticky' and more often it takes considerable force on the brake pedal to stop. I've informed kerry Toyota of florence, ky of my concerns multiple times with no resolution. This is an on-going problem that has not gotten better with time. Also, I've had several issues regarding hesitation when pressing on the accelerator. It was taken in to the dealer and I was told nothing was wrong.

Accelerator sticks when I let off the gas pedal. Pedal does not stay physically depressed, it just doesn't slow down. If I push in clutch, engine races and RPM stays high. Dealer told me this was engineered into the vehicle to "assist with shifting".
