This is the 2nd time I've encountered this problem. The 1st time it was drving and running fine. I cut the engine off. Got back in the truck 5 minutes later. Cranked the truck and put it in reverse, it moved a few feet and engine died. Tried multiple times to crank. If I waited a minute or so, it would crank but go dead almost immediately. The engine was definitely firing, but seemed to be out of gas. After about 20 minutes, it cranked and ran fine. About 6 weeks later on 5-30-2011, it did the same thing again. This time I left if over night. The next morning, on first try it cranked and went dead immediately. On 2nd try it cranked and continued to run. I drove it about 20 miles to the Toyota dealership in Decatur, AL. The said if they could not duplicate the problem, that they couldn't fix it.
