bought this truck Brand new, in Feb 09, only have 17,800 miles on it, never off road. At times the truck is hard to start, what i mean, the engine turns over multi. times prior to starting. Acts like its not getting fuel, seems like a weak fuel pump. when the truck finally starts, it runs rough. Never had a service light on. Took it to the local Toyota Dealer, they checked it out and found nothing wrong. This happens off and on, not all the time. Also getting lots of HEAVY black carbon build up at the exhaust pipe, and it's all over the side of my truck. They dealer also said that's normal, they all do that....Hard for me to believe.
