The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. While driving at various speeds, a rattling noise was present coming from the rear of the vehicle. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the rear driver side leaf spring failed. Approximately two months later, the rear passenger side leaf spring fractured. The contact also indicated that the recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 14V604000 (suspension) was received in may of 2015. After contacting the dealer and the manufacturer on multiple occasions, the contact was informed that the parts needed to repair the vehicle were still not available and no estimated time for receiving the parts could be given. The failure mileage was 80,000. MA 10/14
