A D V E R T I S E M E N T S
WE ARE HAVING SOME MAJOR ISSUES GETTING OUR TRUCK REPAIRED WITH CRAMER TOYOTA. FROM THE BEGINNING WHEN THEY GOT THE FRAME IN THEY TOLD US IT WOULD BE 18 WORKING DAYS TO FINISH THE TRUCK. NOW ALMOST 2 1/2 MONTHS LATER WE ARE FINALLY GETTING CLOSER TO IT BEING FINISHED. THEY FIRST TOLD US OUR TRUCK WOULD BE DONE IN THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY SO WE TOOK THE DAY OFF THAT THEY TOLD US AND THEN IT WASNT COMPLETED. THE FOLLOWING MONDAY ONCE AGAIN THEY TOLD US OUR TRUCK WOULD BE COMPLETED AND ONCE AGAIN THEY DID NOT HAVE THE TRUCK READY. BECAUSE OF ALL THE TIME THEY TOOK AND HOW LONG IT WAS TAKING AND THE FACT THAT THEY HAD GIVEN US TWO DATES ALREADY AND NOT HAD THE TRUCK READY THEY TOLD US THEY WOULD WAIVE THE DEDUCTIBLE FOR THE TROUBLE WE EXPERIENCED.
THE FOLLOWING WEEK THEY ONCE AGAIN TOLD US THE TRUCK WOULD BE READY SO WE WENT UP THERE TO LOOK AT IT AND THEY HAD THE PAPERWORK READY TO GIVE THE TRUCK TO US AND THE TRUCK WAS NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED. IN THE BACK SEAT THE SIDE PANEL WAS MISSING AND BEHIND THE BACK SEAT THEY HAD COMPLETELY FORGOT TO PUT THE COMPARTMENTS BACK IN AND IT WAS ONLY MEDAL. THEIR WERE SCRATCHES IS THE PAINT AND SAND UNDER THE PAINT THEY HAD SCRATCHED THE TRUCK IN ANOTHER SPOT, ALSO THE BROKE THE PIECES TO THE STEP IN ON BOTH OF THE FRONT FLOOR BOARDS. THE PIECES ABOVE THE TIRES WERE NOT ATTACHED AND THEIR WERE PIECES MISSING FROM THE BED. THE BLACK STEPS THAT GO ON THE BACK BUMPER WERE BROKEN AND NOT ATTACHED CORRECTLY. THE SKID PLATE ON THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK WAS MISSING. THEY THEN WROTE SOME NOTES AND PUT US IN A RENTAL CAR BECAUSE THEY HAD TO SPEND SOME MORE TIME FIXING OUR TRUCK.
THEY WERE GOING TO ADD STEP SIDES AT THIS TIME FOR ONCE AGAIN THE TRUCK NOT NEARLY BEING READY WHEN THEY SAID IT WAS GOING TO BE. THEY TRIED TO DELIVER THE TRUCK LAST FRIDAY TO MY WORK AND PICK UP THE RENTAL AND ONCE AGAIN THE PIECES ABOVE THE TIRES WERE NOT ATTACHED CORRECTLY AND THEY TRIED TO GLUE THEM DOWN AND THE GLUE WAS ALREADY LOOSE. THE CHIP IN THE BACK PASSENGER DOOR HAD BEEN TOUCHED UP BUT NOT REPAIRED CORRECTLY. THE BUMPER STILL HAD MANY PAINT BLEMISHES AND SAND UNDER THE PAINT. THEY ALSO SCRATCHED THE BED AND DID A TOUCH UP ON IT THAT LOOKS AWFUL. THE DEALERSHIP HAD PUT AN OLD RUSTED SKID PLATE ON OUR TRUCK AND TOLD US IT WAS THE ONE THAT CAME OFF OF OUR TRUCK AND I TOLD THEM THEY WERE MISTAKEN.
THEY TOOK THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS, WHICH THEY WERE UNHAPPY ABOUT. WE WENT TODAY TO PICK UP OUR TRUCK AGAIN TO FIND THEY PUT MORE GLUE ON THE PIECES ABOVE THE TIRES AND STILL DID NOT ATTACH THE PIECES CORRECTLY THERE IS GLUE ON MY TRUCK. THERE IS NOT ONLY THE ONE TOUCH UP SCRATCH ON THE BED THERE IS ANOTHER ONE. THE BACK DOOR SCRATCH WAS NEVER FIXED AND THEY DID NOT FIX THE PAINT ON THE BUMPER. THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE (WHICH READS THE OUTSIDE TEMP) ON THE INSIDE OF THE TRUCK IS NOT WORKING. THEY GLUED DOWN THE PIECES ON THE FLOOR BOARD AND DID NOT FIX THEM OR ATTACH THEM THE WAY THEY WERE BEFORE THEY BROKE THEM. THE MIRROR BUTTON IS PUSHED IN AND NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. THE TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE CAME ON BEFORE WE EVEN MADE IT HOME. THE ENGINE IS RATTLING AND THE BRAKES WERE NOT BLED RIGHT THEIR IS AIR IN THE LINES. THERE IS A TOW HOOK MISSING FROM THE FRONT END AND STILL PIECES MISSING FROM THE BED THAT THEY DID NOT PUT ON.
THE OWNER OF THE DEALERSHIP REPEATEDLY TOLD ME THAT MY TRUCK WAS PERFECT AND I WAS EXPECTING TOO MUCH FOR A $17,000 JOB. HE THEN TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD NOT DO ANYMORE WORK TO MY TRUCK AND THEIR WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. HE SCREAMED AND YELLED AT ME WHEN I SAID I DIDNT WANT TO SIGN THE PAPERS OR THE CHECKS BECAUSE THE JOB WASNT COMPLETE. HE TOOK THE RENTAL CAR AND SAID FINE WALK HOME. HE TOLD ME THAT IF I DIDNT SIGN THE PAPERS RIGHT THEN THAT HE WAS TAKING AWAY THE WAIVING OF THE DEDUCTIBLE AND THE SIDE STEPS THAT HE ORIGINALLY PROMISED TO ME AND HE WOULD STILL NOT FIX MY TRUCK. HE TOLD ME IF I DIDNT SIGN THE PAPERS RIGHT THEN THEY WERE CLOSING THE DEALERSHIP AND I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE WITHOUT MY TRUCK.
WHEN I SIGN THE CHECKS AS HE SCREAMED AND YELLED AT ME AND LIED TO ME AND SAID HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT WAIVING THE DEDUCTIBLE AND TOLD THE OTHER GUY IN THE SHOP WHEN HE STEPPED UP TO SAY SOMETHING TO SHUT UP AND HE KNEW NOTHING. I WROTE FORCED TO SIGN ON EVERYTHING THAT HE HAD ME SIGN BECAUSE THEY FORCED ME TO SIGN THE PAPERWORK AND THE CHECK AND THE TRUCK IS NOT CORRECTLY FINISHED.
ON THE WAY HOME WE LOOKED AT THE INVOICE AND THEY CHARGED ALLSTATE FOR A CLUTCH BEARING ASSEMBLY THAT WAS COVER UNDER TOYOTA WARRANTY AND THEY NEVER PUT IN THE TRUCK AND TOLD US THAT THEY DID NOT. THEY NEVER GOT TO THAT. BUT ALLSTATE WAS CHARGED THAT FEE AND LABOR WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND THE WORK WAS NEVER DONE. ANY SCRATCHES THEY PUT ON THE TRUCK HE TOLD ME IT WAS A TRUCK WITH 50000 MILES ON IT I SHOULD EXPECT THAT. WHICH WOULD BE FINE IF THEY DIDNT PUT THEM THERE AND BREAK PIECES AND GLUE THEM BACK. I CALLED ALLSTATE AND I AM GOING TO CALL THEM AGAIN TO HAVE THEM REINSPECT THE TRUCK FOR DAMAGE TO SHOW THAT THE WORK WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY.
THERE ARE ALSO 4,000 ADDITIONAL MILES ON MY TRUCK FROM THE DATE OF THE ACCIDENT TO WHEN WE PICKED IT UP AT THE SHOP AND IT WAS IN CRAMER TOYOTA'S CARE THAT WHOLE TIME. THE OWNER LIED AND CHEATED HIS WAY FIXING MY TRUCK AND I WOULD LIKE THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED AND FOR YOU NOT TO PAY THEM FOR THE WORK THAT WAS NOT COMPLETED.
I HOPE I REMEMBERED ALL OF THE PROBLEMS IN THIS LETTER IF NOT I WILL GO OVER EVERYTHING WITH THE ADJUSTER AGAIN WHEN THEY COME TO LOOK AT THE TRUCK.
