Truck accelerated as I was stopped at a red light, causing me to hit the car in front of me I applied the brakes causing skid marks in the road. We pulled off the road (myself and my passenger and the car I hit) I called the police and explained what had happened. The woman in the car I hit confirmed that she saw me with both hands on the wheel try to control the car. Police thought it could be a vehicle malfunction after investigating skid marks and victims statement. They cited no one thinking this could be the case. The dealer was less than a mile away, so I chanced going there. They told me that that was just not possible to happen. "I'm 99.9 % sure that that can't happen. They refuse to do anything about it. My passenger told them as well as the police that I did everything I could to control the truck, they were adamant. Where do I go from here? I just bought the truck, have front end damage, rear end damage to the other car. If Toyota won't help where do I go from here? This was a local dealership and a service type came out and "looked" at the engine? How can you tell anything from doing that?
