problem #2

Tacoma Acces Cab 6 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 35,000 miles

Extensive rust of brake lines and pro portioning valves. Failed at same time leaving only emergency brake to stop. Very dangerous. At same extensive rust of frame. How can Toyota get away with knowingly selling so rust prone vehicles?

Tacoma Access Cab 4WD V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 39,490 miles

On a slope, brake pedal went to floor, no braking action. Use emergency brake to stop. Towed truck to shop. They said Toyota steel brake lines had rusted through. This is unsafe on a truck with 39,000 miles. Had it been at speed, there would have been an accident.
