I've owned several Toyotas and they make a great product. However, their corporate customers service is AWFUL! My Tacoma was one that had the frame replaced and it was done by Emerson Toyota. Emerson is a top notch dealer. But, at the time they did the frame they did not replace the springs. So, now one of the springs is broken.

I have emailed and dealt with now 4 people in their corporate customer service. They say the springs were replaced when the frame was done. I knew they had not been. I then called the dealership and verified that the springs were not replaced. Yet, Toyota customer service stills says it was done because it is in their computer system.

This should be simple, right? Just contact the dealership where the work was done! However, they won't do that because their computer says it is done. I'm furious, and I am not going to just let it go - which is obviously what they are hoping for.

So, trying again and if need be I will have my attorney get involved. Sometimes it is nice having a daughter who is an attorney and works for free!

I BOUGHT THIS 2005 TACOMA BRAND NEW AFTER ABOUT 6 MONTH THEY REPLACED MY REAR LEAF SPRINGS BECAUSE OF A BAD SQUEEK IN THEM IT FIXED IT FOR A WHILE THEN STARTED AGAIN. COMPLAINED WITH NO RESOLVE. APRIL 2014 A REAR LEAF SPRING BROKE AND I HAD THEM REPLACE FROM KEYSTONE SPRING. THEN ABOUT 6 TO 8 MONTHS LATER I RECIEVED A NOTICE FROM TOYOTA THAT THERE IS A RECALL FOR THE BREAKING OF THE REAR LEAF SPRINGS. I CONTACTED TOYOTA TO TELL THEM THAT I HAD TO HAVE THE SPRING REPLACED AND DO I GET A REIMBERCEMENT THEY SAID AS SOON AS TOYOTA COMES UP WITH A "FIX" FOR THE PROBLEM I WOULD BE REIMBERCED. AS OF NOW ON NOV 16 2015 STILL NO "FIX" AND ON THE 15TH OF NOVEMBER I NOTICED I HAVE ANOTHER BROKEN LEAF SPRING THAT I HAVE TO HAVE REPLACE AGAIN AT MY COST. THEY CERTAINLY DONT STAND BEHIND THERE CUSTOMERS. AND WHY IS TAKING SO LONG TO FIGURE OUT THAT THEY JUST HAVE TO REPLACE THE LEAF SPRINGS AT THERE COST NOW ITS GOING TO COST ME AGAIN. WHAT IS THERE A BAD DESIGN WHERE THE SPRING MOUNT THAT THEY KEEP BREAKING. THIS COULD MAKE ME NOT TO BUY A TOYOTA PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.I HAVE NEVER PUT MORE WEIGHT THEN SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURE AND I JUST DRIVE IT TO WORK AND BACK I GUESS THATS REAL TOUGH ON THE TRUCK BULLSH*T.SORRY A VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER.
