The contact owns a 2005 Toyota Tacoma. When shifting from fourth to fifth gear, usually around 45 mph, the RPM would increase. The contact could not determine how much the RPM increased. The dealer stated that the failure was a normal function of the emission control. No repairs were made. The failure mileage was 2,300 and current mileage was 23,000.
