The contact owns a 2000 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that the front driver's seat belt was unraveling itself. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection and they stated that the contact must have spilled something on the seat belt. The manufacturer was notified and offered no asssitance. The manufacturer also stated that the warranty was expired. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 206,000.
Vehicle was going 30-35mph and rear ended another vehicle. Seatbelt gave away upon impact, causing consumer to hit his head on windshield. Vehicle at dealer for inspection.
