File complaints with NHTSA, FTC and your State Consumer Protection Agency. Also file complaints with the BBB in your state. If you can afford one hire a law firm or join a class action suit against Toyota Motor Corporation. Also contact your Congress member and Senators. Try calling the dealer or Toyota's 800 number and mention frame rot. They will either deny a problem exists or blow you off. The entire bottom of the tail gate rusted out, No other rust on the truck, just the tail gate, dealer said tough, replace it. Wanted $350 for the tail gate, $300 to paint it, and $150 to swap the latch mech. Told them to forget it, that the rusted out tail gate was good advertising for Toyota.
