thumping noises on starting or stop, feels like body torque
Toyota dealer can'td identify the sound, I think someone is deafer than I am. It feels like when the van is on uneven roadway, the body seems to torque and the sliders and rear door seem to move and make noises. It only has 28K miles, no sounds when driving on highway, even uneven roads, but when driving slowly in rural areas. Car costs #38,000 and should not be making these noises., Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Update from Oct 5, 2016: I placed gorilla tape on all 4 latches on the sliders and on all the floor latches for the thrid row seats. this made a more positive latch without the looseness of the original latch. Now when sienna goes over uneven roads I do not hear any of the same thumping due to tdhe body twisting and the doors moving slightly. Like the van much better now.
