CarComplaints.com Notes: Toyota says the 2015 Sienna has been redesigned with "more swagger." Let's hope it's also been redesigned with less seat noise.
rear slider door windows tapping metal noise rolled down
Driving through nice neighborhood with slider window cracked opened about 3" for fresh air I can hear something tapping on the glass continuously. Very distracting.
Sounds like glass is hitting on a metal continuously until completely rolled down or rolled up.
Never had any thing like this as a product that cost $37K.
I took it to dealer and here we go again " COMPARED TO 5TDZK3DC0ES502650 THE OTHER VEHICLE HAS THE SAME CHARACTERISTIC. THIS CONDITION IS NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE VEHICLE."
I did not take it to dealer to be compared to another vehicle I want the solution to fix the rattle.
I even offered the dealer forget the comparing warranty I'll pay out of my pocket to fix it but they won't because it's still under warranty.
I called Toyota customer service and told me again that " Once District make the decision as normal nothing can be done." : (
So is my warranty void as soon as DSPM and FTS looks at it and say it's normal ?
How much of engineering was spent to make the glass bouncing around in a $37K vehicle.
Does TOYOTA have list of "NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC CHART" that I missed when I bought the car ?
