slipping rpm shoot up going no where delay in acceleration Bought brand new 2015 Sienna XLE in Jan 2016 and very excited. It was very nice in the begining but after driving for about a week started to act little weird around 300 miles. Started up fine in the morning shift in drive with brake pressed engine started to shaking pretty bad like missing a spark plug or something. Turned it off and restart it was fine after that. Few weeks later start to notice transmission kicking/jump when shifting from Reverse to N to shift to Drive. Couple of times I had hard time getting out of Park on a flat surface with clunk to shift in to reverse. Few times taking off from stop noticed delay in acceleration also trying to pick up speed to merge in to a lane pressing the gas paddle little over half way sudden engine speed shoots up close to red line sucking up gas going no where. Kicking from shifting from Reverse to N got worse and kicks harder so I took it to dealer near my office and only thing they had to say was Compared to 5TDZK3DC0ES502650 " THE OTHER VAN HAS SAME CHARACTERISTIC." THIS CONDITION IS NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE VEHICLE " I totally disagree with the dealer said so I decide to drive further to purchased dealer. After the test drive they noticed Transmission have slipping problem and I wasn't happy with re-manufactured transmission at 5k miles on a new sienna but drives so much smoother and lot's of power. Transmission Kicking/Jump shifting from Reverse to N which dealer said " NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE VEHICLE " is not normal because after the replacement of the transmission can not even feel anything during the shifting in and out of the gears.
