The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 16,000. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the local dealer who confirmed that the VIN was included in a recall. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V858000 (structure). The part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.
