Coming off the bay bridge, approaching the emeryville off-ramp, a loud noise emanated from the driver's rear of the minivan. Moved from the next to outside lane to side of the freeway & called aaa. Drove home on MINItire. Was sent to America's tire by my usual mechanic. Tire replaced with same make and model. No comments re other tires or one with shredded sidewall. Tire recycled. Auto & tire 23,000 miles. Car indoors 90%+ of the time. Have tire photos.
