The contact owns a 2014 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 16V858000 (structure), however the failure recurred. The contact stated while stopped, the driver's side rear doors failed to lock securely. On several occasions the doors were unable to be unlocked from inside or outside of the vehicle. The contact stated the doors would unlock while depressing the unlock button on the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to Toyota of scranton located at 3400 N main ave, scranton, pa 18508, where the vehicle was diagnosed and the contact was informed that an unknown part needed to be replace. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
