2013 Toyota Sienna. Consumer writes in regards to safety recall not being repaired in a timely manner. The consumer stated the back passenger door would not open. It was repaired but the failure recurred. Updated 11/6/2017
The contact owns a 2013 Toyota Sienna. While the vehicle was stationary, both sliding doors malfunctioned. The contact stated that the doors remained open when prompted to automatically close. In addition, the sliding doors had to be manually locked and unlocked. A dealer and the manufacturer were not aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
